Below are some of the most important figures, grouped by the period in which they worked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Middle Ages (Gothic Period)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Master Paskalij (14th century):<\/strong> Known for his work on the Ljubljana Cathedral and other Gothic churches. He was one of the first stonemasons to organize into guilds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ivan Juraj:<\/strong> Best known for his work on St. James\u2019s Church in Ljubljana, where he crafted portals and other stone details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Renaissance and Baroque<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Francesco Robba (1698\u20131757):<\/strong> Although Venetian by origin, Robba was one of the most important stonemasons to work in Slovenia. He collaborated with the best stonemasons of his time to create masterpieces like the <strong>National and University Library<\/strong>, <strong>Ljubljana Market<\/strong>, and <strong>Triple Bridge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bo\u017eo Ko\u0161ak (1927\u20131993):<\/strong> A modern sculptor and stonemason who combined tradition with contemporary techniques.
